How it works
Our secondary students follow a weekly timetable that resembles a traditional school day, with scheduled live lessons across core subjects and options, plus time set aside for independent practice and clubs.
- Live teacher‑led lessons: Every lesson is taught in real time by qualified subject teachers. Students can ask questions and take part in discussion throughout, not just at the end.
- Small class sizes: Classes are deliberately kept small, typically around 15 students, so teachers can give individual attention and ensure students are supported in learning and participation.
- Interactive learning: Lessons are structured with teacher explanation, guided practice and time to check understanding. Students aren’t left to work alone in silence between chunks of screen time.
- Clear structure: Each week follows a predictable rhythm, helping students feel settled and organised. Timetables are shared in advance and include regular breaks, so students know what to expect.
This approach helps students develop solid study habits while staying connected to teachers and classmates.
What a typical school day looks like
Our Secondary school day follows a clear timetable, so students know exactly where they need to be and what they are working towards. Each subject is taught in a live lesson by a specialist teacher, with time built in for practice, independent work and short breaks between sessions. This steady rhythm helps students stay focused, manage their workload and develop good study habits.

Academic Support That Is Planned and Responsive
Students who need extra support can join targeted reading and writing sessions in Key Stage 3 and 4, designed to build skills and confidence in a supportive setting. One-to-one tuition is also available for short- or long-term guidance, tailored in partnership with families.
Alongside lessons, students can take part in clubs and other school activities, helping them stay engaged and balanced throughout the week.
