A Level Turkish builds upon your existing knowledge, giving you a sound understanding of using your language in a variety of contexts and situations – at home, abroad, with friends or in the workplace.

Assessment
Examination based. Assessment will take place either at a British Council office or an approved Edexcel Centre in your home country. The Pearson Edexcel Level 3 Advanced GCE in Turkish (listening, reading and writing) consists of three externally-examined papers that assess listening, reading and writing skills. These assessments will be set and marked by Pearson.

Course Duration
A-level Turkish is a two-year program. During the two years of studies, students will have access to live online classes as well as they will have academic mentor support and, one to one subject support.
Course Outcome
Upon completion of the A-level in Turkish, students will achieve an Edexcel qualification ( providing that all exams have been completed and passed). The final certificate will allow students to apply to their chosen university.
Entry requirements
- Hold GCSE Turkish or equivalent.
- Students whose English is not their first language, are required to either sit an internal English assessment or provide an English certificate at a min level B2 in all components.

How many hours a week are students expected to study?
Students are required to undertake 5 hours of self-study per subject. In addition, students will also be required to attend 2 hours of live lessons per subjects.
