Course Description

A Level Psychology introduces you to the range of research methods psychologists use to find out about human nature. Psychology is the study of behavior. It is a subject that forms a link between the biological sciences and the social sciences.

Assessment 

Examination based. Assessment will take place either at a British Council office or an approved Edexcel Centre in your home country. The Pearson Edexcel Level 3 Advanced GCE in Psychology is structured into nine topic areas.This qualification consists of three externally examined papers.

Course Duration 

A-level psychology is a two-year program. During the two years of studies, students will have access to live online classes as well as they will have academic mentor support and, one to one subject support.

Course Outcome 

Upon completion of the A-level in Psychology, students will achieve an Edexcel qualification ( providing that all exams have been completed and passed). The final certificate will allow students to apply to their chosen university to study degrees related to psychology or biology.

  • Hold GCSE Psychology 
  • Students whose English is not their first language, are required to either sit an internal English assessment or provide an English certificate at a min level B2 in all components.

How many hours a week are students expected to study?

Students are required to undertake 10  hours of self-study per subject. In addition, students will also be required to attend 2 hours of live lessons per subjects.
