Oxford Online School delivers the UK curriculum entirely online, offering small, teacher-led classes designed to give each student the attention they need. Our approach mirrors the organisation and structure of traditional schools with clear timetables, daily routines and a focus on both academic progress and personal wellbeing.

Learning that’s personal and interactive

Lessons are live and teacher-led, with students encouraged to ask questions and participate fully. Class sizes average 10 students, with a maximum of 12–15, ensuring everyone can contribute and receive feedback. For older students, recorded lessons and digital resources are available to support independent review and exam preparation.

Why our model works

We combine structured routines with flexibility tailored to each student’s needs. Academic teaching is separate from pastoral support, allowing subject teachers to focus on learning while our pastoral team and senior leadership monitor wellbeing and maintain close communication with families. Clubs and extra-curricular activities foster social connection, while clear assessment and mentoring pathways guide students from Year 4 through to university preparation.

Who benefits most

Our school is designed for students who traditional settings haven’t suited, including those experiencing anxiety or wellbeing challenges. We also support students balancing demanding careers or professional commitments alongside their studies, such as performers and international pupils. Every learner’s educational plan is tailored to their abilities and goals.

The Full British Curriculum

Support throughout the student journey

Pastoral care is a staple of our approach. Students receive consistent guidance from teachers and mentors, with structured support in both academic and personal development. Parents are kept fully informed through reports, meetings, and direct communication with the school, ensuring that progress and wellbeing are closely monitored.

How parents can take the next step

Enrolment begins with an enquiry and application form, followed by a call to discuss your child’s needs. From there, students are integrated into small classes, receive clear guidance on their learning pathways, and begin a structured journey towards academic achievement and future opportunities.
