Why Study A Level Mathematics With Us?

Mathematics is a versatile and respected subject that builds analytical thinking, logic, and quantitative reasoning. It is highly regarded by universities and employers across fields such as science, engineering, economics, and computer science.

At Oxford Online School, our Pearson Edexcel International A Level Mathematics programme is designed to help online learners, homeschoolers, and international students develop mastery and confidence in mathematics through structured, expert-led learning.

Real-Time Support From UK-Based Mathematics Teachers

All our mathematics lessons are delivered live by experienced UK-based teachers who provide individualised guidance and structured challenge. We use the flipped learning model, encouraging students to prepare through pre-lesson materials and engage in deeper practice during class.

All full-time A Level students are automatically enrolled in our UPP (University Preparation and Progression) programme. This includes:

  • One-to-one academic mentoring
  • Participation in our Cosmopolitan Future extracurricular programme
  • Completion of the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), which is compulsory for all full-time students

Our academic mentors work closely with maths teachers to help students build strong academic routines and prepare for university-level study.

What You’ll Study

The course is based on the Pearson Edexcel International A Level (IAL) specification and includes the following core components:

  • Pure Mathematics – algebra, logarithms, trigonometry, differentiation, integration, binomial expansion
  • Statistics – correlation, probability distributions, sampling, hypothesis testing
  • Mechanics – kinematics, motion under gravity, forces, Newton’s laws, connected particles

Students will develop fluency in mathematical techniques and learn to apply concepts to real-world and theoretical problems.

Exam Board & How You’ll Be Graded

Oxford Online School follows the Pearson Edexcel International A Level (IAL) specification for Mathematics. This modular qualification is assessed through written examinations only.

To support your success, we offer:

  • Weekly assignments and topic reviews
