Real-Time Support From UK-Based Spanish Teachers

Our live Spanish lessons are led by qualified UK-based teachers and native speakers. We follow a flipped learning approach to maximise time for oral work, text interpretation, and collaborative discussion during class.

All full-time A Level students are automatically enrolled in our UPP (University Preparation and Progression) programme. This includes:

• One-to-one academic mentoring
• Participation in our Cosmopolitan Future extracurricular programme
• Completion of the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), which is compulsory for all full-time students

Academic mentors support student progress in close collaboration with Spanish tutors and help learners access enrichment opportunities such as poetry readings, student-led conversation clubs, and intercultural debates.

Exam Board & How You’ll Be Graded

Oxford Online School follows the Pearson Edexcel A Level specification for Spanish. The qualification is assessed through:

• Paper 1: Listening, Reading and Translation
• Paper 2: Written response to works and translation
• Paper 3: Speaking assessment with independent research presentation
