Study the British curriculum from anywhere in the world

Oxford Online School welcomes students from around the world who want to study the British curriculum in a structured, supportive environment.

Many families join while living overseas. Some are British expatriates who want their children to continue a UK education. Others are international families planning for UK university, or families who move frequently and want continuity in their child’s schooling.

Because lessons take place online, students can study from home while following a clear timetable, learning in small classes, and working directly with teachers as they progress through recognised British qualifications.

How learning works for international students
How it works

How learning works for international students

Students attend scheduled live lessons during the UK school week. Classes follow a structured timetable like a traditional UK school day, allowing students to progress through the curriculum with their teachers and classmates.

Lessons are taught by subject specialists and students can ask questions, contribute to discussions, and receive guidance during class.

For older students, lesson recordings are also available so that learning can be reviewed if needed.

Learning across time zones

Oxford Online School follows a UK time zone, and international students join the same scheduled lessons as UK-based pupils to keep lessons live and interactive.

To help parents understand how lesson times translate across different countries, we have created a guide showing typical school hours in multiple regions.
