Home Education

Support your home education with structured online schooling

Home education gives families something most traditional schools cannot: the freedom to put your child's needs first. But finding the right academic support to sit alongside that freedom is not always straightforward.

What we offer

What does Oxford Online School offer home-educating families?

Live lessons taught by subject specialists in small classes of around ten students, with a weekly timetable, regular teacher feedback and access to academic mentoring and pastoral support throughout the year. Every lesson is taught in real time - students ask questions, join discussions and build a relationship with their teacher. Parents receive progress updates through reports, attendance records and direct communication from the school.

Who is it for?

More structured homeschooling

As children progress, the academic demands of home education can become harder to manage alone. Oxford Online School provides full-time structured teaching from Year 7, with subject specialists handling each subject.

GCSE and A Level support

Individual subjects can be studied alongside existing home education arrangements, or students can join the full programme for structured exam preparation and subject guidance.

A different learning environment

For students who need more flexibility - whether due to anxiety, health, additional needs, sport or performing arts - Oxford Online School offers a personalised setting with the structure of a real school.

Travelling and international families

Oxford Online School provides continuity of British curriculum education regardless of location, supporting students across multiple time zones.
