Enrolment and admissions

Enrolment is subject to our admissions process, which includes:

  • Completion of an application form
  • A suitability assessment (where applicable)
  • Receipt of a signed enrolment agreement
  • Payment of the registration fee and deposit

Oxford Online School reserves the right to decline any application at its sole discretion without providing a reason.

Selective Trial

Where a selective trial is offered, it is provided as a structured assessment period and does not constitute a guarantee of enrolment. Trial places are limited and subject to availability.

Fees and payment

Fee structure

Tuition fees are published on our website and are set per academic year. Fees vary by programme and payment schedule (half-termly, termly or annually). Full details are available on the Fees page.

Registration fee and deposit

A non-refundable registration fee is payable on application. A deposit is payable on acceptance of a place and is credited against the first instalment of tuition fees.

Payment schedules

Tuition fees may be paid half-termly, termly or annually. Annual payment in full attracts a discounted rate. All fees are due in advance of each payment period.

Additional subjects

Additional subjects beyond the included allocation are charged at the published additional subject rate for that academic year.

Late payment

Oxford Online School reserves the right to suspend access to lessons and resources where fees remain unpaid beyond the due date. We will always seek to resolve payment difficulties in good faith before taking this step.

Fee changes

We review fees annually. Any fee change for a new academic year will be communicated to enrolled families at least one term in advance.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation by the parent or student

If you wish to withdraw from a programme, you must notify us in writing to principal@oxfordonlineschool.org.

  • Notice received before the start of a term: fees for that term will not be charged, subject to any applicable notice period
  • Notice received during a term: fees for the current term are payable in full; no refund will be issued for the remainder of the term
  • The registration fee is non-refundable in all circumstances
  • The deposit is non-refundable unless Oxford Online School is unable to provide the agreed programme

Cancellation or suspension by the school

Oxford Online School reserves the right to withdraw a student from the programme where:

  • Fees remain unpaid for more than 14 days after the due date
  • A student's behaviour is incompatible with the school's standards, as outlined in our Behaviour Policy
  • Exceptional circumstances make it impossible to continue delivering the programme

In the event of a cancellation initiated by the school without cause attributable to the student or parent, a pro-rata refund of unused tuition fees will be provided.

Lessons and attendance

Live lessons are scheduled in advance and published in the student portal. Missed lessons by the student are not refunded.

In the event that a teacher is unavailable, Oxford Online School will use reasonable endeavours to provide a cover lesson or a recorded alternative. Isolated lesson disruptions do not give rise to a right to a refund.

Students are expected to attend lessons punctually and to engage constructively with the learning environment.

Student and parent responsibilities

Parents and students agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during the admissions process
  • Ensure students attend lessons regularly and on time

  • Treat all teachers, staff and fellow students with respect
  • Comply with Oxford Online School's policies, including the Behaviour Policy, Online Safety Policy and Acceptable Use Policy
  • Promptly inform the school of any changes to contact details or relevant health or learning needs
