Paris, Groningen and Beyond: Our A Level Students Head to Universities Across Europe

We're celebrating with our students as they receive their 2026 A Level results. This year, 44.44% of grades were awarded at A*-A, including 11.11% at A*, while 57.78% of grades were awarded at B or above.

For us, these results mark an important milestone for students who've followed very different educational journeys, choosing online education for their own personal, academic or professional reasons.

We provide a full secondary and sixth-form education through live online teaching, supporting students internationally. Our community includes students pursuing demanding sporting and performing arts careers, internationally mobile families, previously home-educated students and young people for whom a traditional school environment wasn't the right fit.

For us, results day is about more than headline statistics.

Our Director, Ajla, said:

“For some students, success looks like an A grade and a place at the university they've set their sights on. For others, finishing their A Levels with a C after a difficult few years is every bit as significant an achievement.

So we don't stop at the grade. We consider the starting point, how far each student has come, what they've had to work through and what comes next for them.

I'm enormously proud of our students, and of the families who have stood behind them all the way. My thanks go to our teachers too, people who genuinely care about the young people in front of them. Today celebrates determination and resilience, and above all it celebrates what these students have achieved academically.

Education should open doors. Our job is to make sure every student has the academic support, the confidence and the encouragement to walk through the next one.”

Among this year's success stories, Maria has secured a place at IAE Paris, while Nikolai has been accepted to the University of Groningen, reflecting the international pathways our students continue to pursue.

Students receiving their results will now move on to a range of destinations, including university study and other educational and career pathways. We'll continue supporting them through university confirmation, clearing and the decisions that follow results day.

We're celebrating not just the grades achieved, but each individual journey and the futures our students are now preparing to pursue.
