Course Description
GCSE Geography is suited to those with an enquiring mind who wish to pursue an interest in an ever changing and increasingly complex world. Both physical and human geography are studied to support the students’ learning of the two sides of the subject. Geography is a subject that fits well both with Arts and Sciences. Those that take a future route (either A level of IB) that focuses on either Arts or Sciences find Geography complements this well.

Assessment
100% external assessment, covered by two examinations.The Pearson Edexcel International GCSE in Geography is a linear qualification. All papers must be taken at the end of the course of study.

Course Duration
The IGCSE Geography is a two-year program. During the two years of studies, students will have access to live online classes as well as they will have academic mentor support and, one to one subject support.
Course Outcome
International GCSEs enable successful progression to Level 3 qualifications (such as the International A Level in Geography) and beyond, in geography and other subjects.
Entry Requirements
- Students whose English is not their first language, are required to either sit an internal English assessment or provide an English certificate at a min level B2 in all components.

How many hours a week are students expected to study?
Students are required to undertake 6 hours of self-study per subject. In addition, students will also be required to attend 50 min of live lessons per subjects
