Tim Davies

Tim is a graduate of Oxford University (Christ Church), where he attained a First Class Honours in his Physics MSc. As part of his Master’s, he was involved in research for the Astrophysics Department, looking at the star formation of galaxies. Tim now works as a professional tutor and educational consultant, specialising in admissions to both Oxford and Cambridge universities.

Moreover, he has developed his own programmes to prepare students for the Oxford PAT and Cambridge ENGAA exams, in addition to producing and leading residential courses in Oxbridge admission at top schools in South East Asia, Europe and across the UK.

Tim also has extensive experience of teaching A level Physics, Maths and Further Maths in a wide variety of formats, from full-time sixth form study to short term intensive revision courses.

As well as this, Tim enjoys preparing pupils for the STEP mathematics programme. Meanwhile, outside of physics, Tim is known for his keen interest and talent for music. He is a virtuoso  jazz trumpet player, drummer and producer and has played with many groups in and around Oxford and London.
